Claire Luchette is the author of the novel Agatha of Little Neon (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2021). They teach in the creative writing program at Binghamton University.

While at Harvard Radcliffe Institute, Luchette is working on a new novel, about the mail.

A National Book Foundation 5 Under 35 honoree, Luchette has received grants and support from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York Public Library’s Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers, and the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing. Their short fiction has appeared in The Best American Short Stories 2022 (Mariner Books, 2022), Granta, Ploughshares, The Pushcart Prize XLLV: Best of the Small Presses 2020 Edition (Pushcart Press, 2019), and VQR. A graduate of the MFA program at the University of Oregon, they live in New York.
