In 2022, the United States Supreme Court reversed Roe v. Wade and Casey v. Planned Parenthood in the case Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization. I intend to write a book of oral histories of people affected by this decision. Set in the rapidly changing legal landscape, the book will contain narratives of people who possess different political, class, race, sexuality, sexual identity, ability, and geographic backgrounds.

Research partners who work with me will learn or perfect their skills in two areas: The first is legal research and the second is interviewing. The latter will involve:
A) Learning about the ethical rules and making sure that we’re abiding by university and industry standards.
B) Developing a plan for methodology, considering how the data is going to be collected.
C) Developing subject criteria, that is, determine the kinds of people we will reach out to.
D) Learning how to do outreach.
E) Interviewing itself. You’ll help with pre-interview screening calls and maybe the interviews themselves.
