In January, Harvard Radcliffe Institute held a major public conference to probe the complex and unpredictable ways that Roe v. Wade and its aftermath shaped the United States and the world beyond it for nearly half a century. For two days, authors, ethicists, grassroots organizers, medical professionals, and scholars from across disciplines and many axes of difference gathered on Radcliffe’s campus to explore topics central to the abortion debate.
